Bio

Hello everyone, my name is Daniel DeLeon Jr. I am from a small city of a Falfurrias, TX. I found love with art there at a very young age. I sketched and drew most of my school years until I got to high school and picked up a little bit of painting. It was then I realized that I had a pretty good knack for it.

My first real art class was at A&M Kingsville. It did not take me long to decide that structured art classes were not for me.

In 2006 I moved to Corpus Christi and worked as a professional trainer for years. It was around 2015-16, I picked up art again as a hobby.  

In 2017 I sold my first art piece in San Antonio. It was a validation I had never really found in anything else before.

I was fortunate enough to have been able to show my art in a few local places as well as in Austin, TX.

I eventually decided to change it from a hobby and "side hustle" and to put my life's effort in to my Art full time. 

It has given me a lot more mental clarity, validation, and self-worth with each piece I complete. 

Art has taught me a lot more about myself internally by allowing me to express myself. Being able to do what I love and am passionate about has given me the opportunity and time to focus more on family, being a better man, and father.
